Cool Shades

Grandma Fan sent some awesome Easter gifts to the kids! They were so excited, especially about their new shades! Thanks Grandma Fan!!

Cute Face

It's rare to see this little guy sleeping, but when he does I can't help but stare!

Itty Bitty Ball

We enrolled Logan in Itty Bitty Ball at the Pleasant Grove Rec Center. Every week they focus on a different sport. This day they did baseball. He did so great hitting the ball, catching the ball and running the bases. He is a total lefty! I love it and wanted to run out and buy him his own left handed mit. He gets so proud of himself. This kid really is all boy.....minus the purple t-shirt cause he would agree it's a girl color since Zoey likes it.

Bye Bye Binkie Party

We thought the kids would never give up their binkies. We didn't realize it would be harder for us as parents to let them go. We decided to have a big party to say goodbye to the binkies. For the party we played a game called toss the Binky in the trash, we also have the kids cut the binkies with scissors and then we tied the binkies on the balloons and we said goodbye and let the balloons go. The kids had a blast and were excited to get presents for letting the binkies go. We were surprised at how willing they were to say goodbye. We are proud of them and even more proud of ourselves for finally getting to it!

A Memorial For Josh

It's crazy to think it's been one year since Josh died. He missed so much and we think about him often. There has been a lot of healing in the last year. Jess posted this on her Facebook on the day of his memorial: Wow. I can't believe it has already been one full year since Josh left us. It's definitely been one of the hardest things I've had to go through, especially with seeing our family hurt so much, and it's still hard today, but time heals. I remember when it happened all anyone could do was cry. We'd hug, and cry. Smile through the pain, and cry. Try to remember the good things about Josh, and cry. Watch the beautiful video Adam made, and cry. Look at pictures, and cry. Every single thing we did was covered in complete sadness and grief we couldn't escape. But that's a part of the process. And everyone's journey through grief looks a little different. Maybe we still feel broken, but the fractures we have are able to be filled with love, empathy, and understanding. But looking back over this year I can say with confidence that those of us who knew Josh and loved him are all a little better than we were a year ago. Whether that be having greater empathy for the people around us, or remembering to be a little kinder to others because we're all in this journey of life together and never know what someone may be dealing with. I feel so strongly that we need not separate ourselves from each other, but draw closer together and connect ourselves with the people around us. For that's where're we receive our strength. From the connections we make with others & of course God who is the ultimate source of peace. I just felt impressed to share my feelings this day and hope that whoever reads this knows how wonderful they are. I truly believe every person on this earth, no matter who they are, matters. You are enough. You are not flawed in any way. You are trying your best. If anyone feels like they need someone to talk to, even if we've never met, I would be more than happy to talk and listen and feel with you. I love you all. And especially my beautiful family that means the world to me. You guys are great. And I'm so grateful forTammi , Michael , Brandon , Madison , and Logan. For their amazing strength and beautiful souls. I look up to you all so much and I love you guys more than anything!

The memorial was beautiful. Everyone wrote on ballons, and there was a feeling of peace and love there as we hugged and remembered. We feel so blessed to be a part of such a strong family with a firm faith in Heavenly Father's plan. We understand that families are forever and that we will be with Josh again.

Paying Off Card #3

Its been a crazy and challenging month. Jake lost his job And it left us really scrambling to figure out how to maintain the financial stability we had before. Having paid off the previous credit cards was such a big help. In fact it was such a big help that it helped us to continue in our progress. We were able to pay off our third credit card with no problems. We are going to try to attack the last one when we can and Lso try to get the car paid off this year! Even with our job instability we are still trying to make Dave Ransey proud. Bry and Jenn and mom and dad have jumped on the boat and it's nice to feel united in this with them!

This is me calling in our final payment! Boo-ya!!

Reading The Book of Mormon With Z and L

I love when I hear Zoey beg me to read the Book of Mormon! She loves to hear the stories of the prophet and especially about the coming of Jesus Christ.  We snuggle up on my bed and read through some of the stories. Zoey asks lots of questions. She really wants to understand.  Logan tries to listen, but usually falls asleep or is jumping all over the bed. Either way, it makes my heart happy!

Stacey's Zumba Friends!

I have made the best friends in my Zumba class! We have all been going to Hettie's classes for almost 2 years now and we have all just united together to become buddies. I love these guys and I love Zumba. It truely energizes me. Dance has always been such a big part of my life. I get my dance fill every time I come. I am hoping to get Zumba certified. I don't know what I will do with it, but it would be fun to have and be able to sub here and there.
