I love Zoey (4.5 years old)

My little girl is becoming a little lady! She is so wise and so intuitive of everyone and everything around her. She loves to really understand. She is always aware of people's feelings, and there is not much you can't explain to her.

Zoey is about to finish her first year of preschool and her first year of dance. She is good at knowing the sound of her letters and can write her name, even though she would never let on that she can. She likes to try to sound out words. She is getting better at solving problems like getting her own snacks, and toys.

This girl can not get enough of mommys and babys! She now likes to pretend she is pregnant, or that her animals are birthing babies. If I can ever get pregnant again, she will be thrilled!!

I have been really touched by Zoey's testimony in Jesus Christ. She seems so in tune with His love for her. She loves Bible stories (she is watching Prince of Egypt as we speak asking about Moses), and LOVE LOVES the Nativity Story and the story of His Ressurection. She speaks of Him as if he was living in this house with us. She is a great example to me.

Zoey is still attached to her binky but we are going to be getting rid of them during spring break! There will be no going back!

We have started to take away naps because both kids have been up so so late when they have naps. Oh how we miss naps.

Zoey weighs about 40lb and is about 38" tall. She is the perfect little 4T! We love our Zoey.

Sick Logan

Gigi woke up with huge huge swollen lymph nods thAt stayed huge for several days that we decided to take him in to the dr. Dr. Ashby was very very alarmed by the size of them and his tonsils! He immediately tested positive for strep. Dr. Ashby was concerned enough to outline them on his neck so she could make sure the swelling decreased instead of increased. I was so upset by the end of the appointment with worry that something might be very wrong with Logan. Last min they tested Zoey for strep and she was positive too. I was so sad for my kids even though they were jumping around and as silly as normal. Two days later Logan showed enough improvement that we didn't have to get blood work done but it looks like both kids will need their tonsils out. Something to look forward to this summer!!! My kids have been sick almost every week this winter. Hopefully surgery will really help to keep them healthy.

Valentine's Day 2014

It was such a busy week with jake being gone and my dessert buffet and my relief society weekday activity that I'm the leader for and just a million things going on but I still managed to have fun with valentines day! It's so fun to have kids to enjoy it more!
Zoey was super star in her class and had to bring in snacks and I found the tutorial to make these cute robots and couldn't resist! Zoey is such a big helper gluing eyes and bows. She loved these as much as I did and Linda helped me too.

Throughout the week I had the kids help me make hearts and write things we love about everyone in our family. Valentines Eve I "heart attacked" everyone's doors. It's now April and everyone still hAs them on their doors.

Jake came back fri and had to work so jess and I went and got pho. I was sad jake wasn't there but sat we went to salt lake to have dinner at Flemings.

Credit card #2 paid off!

Sent this last payment in to pay off our big $8900 credit card! We paid it off in 3 1/2 months! We've been working do hard and it's been so rewarding! Yay us! Bry and Jenn and mom and dad are jumping on the bandwagon too! It's exciting to see the financial peace program in action. We feel so grateful for this knowledge and bitter we didn't have it seven years ago!!
