Stacey's Zumba Friends!

I have made the best friends in my Zumba class! We have all been going to Hettie's classes for almost 2 years now and we have all just united together to become buddies. I love these guys and I love Zumba. It truely energizes me. Dance has always been such a big part of my life. I get my dance fill every time I come. I am hoping to get Zumba certified. I don't know what I will do with it, but it would be fun to have and be able to sub here and there.

My Surprise 30th Birthday Picnic

Jake put together a little picnic for me with all our friends and family for my birthday! I was thrilled to see he got a hold of my Zumba friends, and that Jake's friends all came, and our family. I felt very loved and very special.

Stacey's 30th Birthday Tour Day 3

Saturday we started the day trying to navigate through the LA marathon to get to Hollywood Blvd so we could get on a tour bus! The tour bus was the perfect way to get in lots of the sites and the weather was perfect again. We got to see a lot of the iconic things in Beverly Hills, lots of celebrity homes, the Hollywood hills. After we walked around and looked at all the stars and hand prints on the street. 

After our fill of all things Hollywood, we went out in search of a beach! Any beach! And after some bad navigation on our GPS (not Jake's bad navigation skills) we got tired of being lost and hit up the first beach we came across which was Redondo Beach. Everyone had their kites flying, and kids were playing in the sand and water and the pier was filled with people fishing and eating and shopping. We lucked out to find such a great spot. We stayed until sunset and we got some great pictures!

In the morning we went to go and see the shark tank at the Golden Nugget. The tank is in the center of the pool there. We just wanted to find our swim suits and spend the day there! But, instead we headed to Caesar's where they have one of the best buffets. It was $45/person!!!!! It was quite the splurge but it was fun to say we did it! There was a ton of food and we stuffed ourselves before getting back on the road and heading to California.

We found the most amazing little outdoor shopping placed called THE GROVE in LA. It had great shops, and a community area in the middle with a pond, and fountain choreographed to music, and live music and big grassy area, and everyone was walking their dogs and just enjoying the night. We got ourselves the perfect little table next to the fountain and had gourmet pizzas and sodas and just loved every second! It was the best way to unwind from a long drive. 

Stacey's 30th Birthday Tour Day 1

I wanted to do something significant for my 30th birthday! And since I had never been to California, I thought it would be a great destination for my birthday weekend. We got mom and dad to come out and join us and we had THE BEST TIME!!! It was perfect. Everything went flawlessly and we were just able to enjoy our time together. We started out with the day at Zion's National Park, and then headed to Vegas, and then to LA. 

Our first day we were in Zion's and it was the most perfect weather and beautiful views. We just draw around the park for a little bit, and shopped around the town, and then headed down to Las Vegas. We stopped in St.George to see the temple first and got to Vegas in the evening. We stayed with the Stokers. It was fun to catch up with Deena! We walked the strip for a while and ended up at Cheesecake Factory for some dessert. It was an exhausting but great day!
