The reason for the season

It touches my heart to see zoey play with the nativity. She loves Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus. Seeing her play with the nativity every day helps me remember what makes this month so special. Thanks for the reminders Zoey. 

Zoey first dance recital

It felt like prom. I was so emotional and excited to see zoey in her first recital! She looked beautiful and did such an amazing job on stage! She gave 100% and it was hard to take our eyes off of her! The recital was all based around Christmas. Zoey's class were christmas mice. They did all 22 numbers in 1 hr ! It was impressive. I love seeing her dance. 

Christmas Fun

It's been such a fun Christmas season. I've been loving every second making cookies, writing Santa letters, seeing christmas lights, visiting Santa . The kids have made it so fun! I feel so filled with the holiday spirit and so grateful to have such wonderful celebrations. Last year jake and I were completely overwhelmed with our food truck business I missed a lot of the joy and magic of Christmas! Not this year! I am enjoying every single part of it!!!!

Logan is 3!

Logan is three!! He can only hold up two fingers though so saying he's two ... Or four. Oh so much feistiness and cuteness mixed together in this little boy! 

Logan's talking has exploded in the past six months . It is such a treat to spend time alone with Logan because he loves to comment about everything! He says things like "that's so cool" and with lots of emotion "that's beautiful " And "that's awesome, humongous, ginormous....." I love all his expressions! He speaks really well and it's easy to have a convo with him.

He is more stubborn than Zoey and more rebellious. He doesn't really care if you're counting to three or planning to leave without him . He just does his thing and is mostly motivated through candy, or something exciting like a binkee. 

He loves to share his feelings. Well .... He loves to tell us "my angry" or "you make me sad" even when we just tell him to pick up his toys . He says this a lot followed by something about us being mean or something being stupid. He even said to me the other day " you don't love me"!! Where does he learn this stuff! Oh any anytime you call him 'Gigi,sweetie , little guy...' He will get upset and say 'my just Logan !"

He loves construction trucks and cars and super heros. He is a true boy always slamming his cars together. Destruction destruction! 

He still takes naps and is now sleeping in a toddler bed. He has had a few bad nights getting up lots but has done really great. He also has been doing greT with potty training. He likes to poop on the potty and makes everyone come see how big his poop is! He actually clogged the nursery toilet with his poop one Sunday! Jake had to go in a unclogg it. We were kind of proud! Ha. 

Logan loves to cuddle in mommys bed and watch movies and play games on the iPad. He's a bit obsessed with playing games and something jake and I are trying make him chill out on! He's resentless sometimes! 

Logan has the most beautiful little face! He has a few light freckles on his nose and a big dimple and huge brown eyes. I can't help but kiss him all the time. I still love to bury my face in his hair and just be close to him! I hope he will always let me of that!

In just a few weeks he will be in primary! He is so different from the newborn baby born three years ago. I love being his mommy!

Happy thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! So much to be grateful for !! We had a nice relaxing thanksgiving with jake's family at the Boyle's house! So much food and so much pie! I am humbled every day by the endless blessing we receive. Just my husband and kids are enough to fill my gratitude cup! I feel so lucky to live in a country where women are given rights and equality and that I can have a job that I love so much. I'm so lucky to have food to fill my families tummy and a safe place to live with people who have made pleasant grove a home for us. I'm so lucky to have the best marriage and kids that are funny and clever and healthy! I am so grateful to live in a time of such amazing technology that I can keep in touch with my family and friends back east that I love so much. I am so lucky to know and understand of the special love that my Heavenly Father has for me and to be reminded of that love every time I think of all of the wonderful things I am blessed with. My cup runneth over.....

Our First Egg!!

Chubs laid her first egg! It's the green one! So exciting!

Cousin Fun

Bry, Jenn and the kids stopped by on Saturday just to say Hi. I love getting together with them and seeing our kids play together. Family rocks!!

Family Hike In New York

Bry and I stayed in Rhinebeck at Jess' new place (Yay! No more Luciano!) after the wedding. In the morning Mom, Dad and Charly came up and brought breakfast and then Jess took us on this great hike. We climbed the fire tower and the views were phenomenal!

Katie's Wedding

The original 5 were all together in NY for a great weekend! Katie got married and it was a great excuse to be all together! Bryant and I flew out Thursday night and it was a perfect amount of time to sing some good songs from our youth (Motorcycle Drive By), eat some of my fav NY foods (Pizza, Crumb Cake, Deli Sandwhich a Daily Planet), see my girlfriends (Meliss, Sarah, Jov, Kari) and party at KAtie's wedding!

The wedding was at The Links and it was so much fun! We danced and laughed, took some goofy pictures and had a great time! I'm so glad I got the time to be there. I love my family and we're not too bad looking either!

It's Halloween!

Such a fun Halloween! The kids really understood it and were excited about costumes, and candy and trick or treating! They loved their costumes and the whole family had fun making them!

Jake started his new job at Papa John's so he missed out on the festivities, but I got to enjoy getting them ready and taking them around the block! They were adorable saying "trick or treat" and going house to house.

We met up with the family for more trick or treating and a fun little Halloween party at Grandma Joys.
