Sunday is for Baking

It's become a thing in our house..... baking! The kids all love to surround the kitchen aide and mix and measure and taste and taste again. It makes me happy to be teaching these kiddies to do something I love. I can't wait to see them baking on their own in our new kitchen. 

Oh and there's always a little touch of drama with the baking. Someone usually ends up crying or  pouting (ahem....Zoey) but we try to make it fun and yummy!! 

Back To School Night

Time to check out the new school! We headed the Barrett to see Zoey and Logan's new classrooms and meet their teachers! Logan's kindergarten teacher is Mrs.Elisias and Zoey's 1st grade teacher is Ms. Lyons. We are excited for a new start and a new school year!!

Mommy Got A Kitty

I couldn't pass up this face! Like I knew I probably shouldn't get a kitten and I told myself I would never get another cat, but I saw her face and I fell in love. The kids were thrilled. Some adults I will not name were not thrilled. But....the kitty stays. We call her Cozette! It means "little one"
