Spring Break 2011 Day 2: The Zoo

All the easter egg hunts we wanted to go to got rained out so we ended up at the zoo. My parents came down for the day and brought Charly. We love it when they come.

Zoey loves her cousin Charly! By the end of the day Zoey had figured out how to say her name.

The zoo was hosting some easter events like an egg hunt, meeting the easter bunny, face painting and a few other games.

It rained half the time but then the sun came out and it was beautiful!

The kids were great. Zoey walked the whole 4 hrs checking out all the animals. Everyone loved her zebra face and zebra jaket. She was saying all her animal words and sounds.Logan also was a trooper and was happy being passed back and forth and then ultimately snoozing in the stroller.

I love my family so much! It was a perfect day!

Spring break 2011 Day 1: The Farm

Since I only got fri and mon we definitely wanted to do what we could. We found this cute little farm in Columbia.  It was raining and cold the whole time so we will have to go back on a better day. It had all of Zoey's favorite animals and fun whimsical play houses.

I love seeing Zoey discover!  She is fearless and excited to learn and so darn cute!

And aren't these rain boots and jacket from aunt meliss the cutest?!
