Christmas in Utah & Nativity

Santa came Saturday morning before Christmas! We got exchange gifts with jakes family. The kids were thrilled with their toys! Zoey actually was flat out upset when the presents were all unwrapped! 

Sunday we did a family nativity that I coordinated. Everyone humored me in participating. We mixed songs in with Christmas hymns and it was a really special program. Zoey was Mary and Logan was passed out so jake had to step in as Joseph. Jenn and Bry came down with Hudson and he was the perfect baby Jesus ! It has been the best Christmas season. I have loved every moment of it

Linda's ugly sweater party

Jake and I got very into making our ugly sweaters this year ! Jake went all"politically incorrect" republican power and I went traditional light up sweater! 

The party was lots of fun. We did white elephant gifts and ate lots of good food! Thanks for an excuse to party !

Baby Hudson is here!

Little Hudson Hettinger was born November 17th ! He was a good boy and came quickly and easily for Jenn after being induced that morning! Jake and I drove up for a short visit the evening he was born and we have seen him several times since! He is such a sweet baby and I love holding him! Congrats Bry and Jenn ! 

The reason for the season

It touches my heart to see zoey play with the nativity. She loves Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus. Seeing her play with the nativity every day helps me remember what makes this month so special. Thanks for the reminders Zoey. 

Zoey first dance recital

It felt like prom. I was so emotional and excited to see zoey in her first recital! She looked beautiful and did such an amazing job on stage! She gave 100% and it was hard to take our eyes off of her! The recital was all based around Christmas. Zoey's class were christmas mice. They did all 22 numbers in 1 hr ! It was impressive. I love seeing her dance. 

Christmas Fun

It's been such a fun Christmas season. I've been loving every second making cookies, writing Santa letters, seeing christmas lights, visiting Santa . The kids have made it so fun! I feel so filled with the holiday spirit and so grateful to have such wonderful celebrations. Last year jake and I were completely overwhelmed with our food truck business I missed a lot of the joy and magic of Christmas! Not this year! I am enjoying every single part of it!!!!
